As your full-time mayor, public safety has been at the forefront of my plans for Whitehall. With a focus on improving the safety of the residents of Whitehall and visitors, Whitehall Township will continue to move forward with my vision for the future of the Whitehall Police and Fire Departments:

  • Hired two additional new police officers in 2014/2015.

  • Hired eight of Whitehall's 46 sworn officers since taking office.

  • Approved the promotions of several sworn officers for future succession plans.

  • Approved technology upgrades for our officers and support staff to improve information sharing and make the department more efficient.

  • Began the planning process for the construction of a new secure and efficient police station.

  • Started studying the legal ramifications of body cameras on officers to see if implementation would be feasible in Whitehall.

  • Reviewed the existing ten-year Fire Apparatus replacement schedule and expanded it to include every new apparatus for the next 23 years.
